Reflections and Eulogies

Andy was born on the 30th March 1966 in Burnt Oak, London. He attended Whitefield School in Cricklewood, London, until he left in 1983. Andy lived in London for most of his life and he spent much of his working life at the Waitrose supermarket chain.

In his youth and early adulthood he was an excellent cricketer, taking after his dad, and he played at County level. Another of his hobbies included cribbage where he was a tournament host for the 'Rockincrib' league. Many of Andy's friends are found here as he was a popular and much loved member of the community. Andy was also an avid reader and an even more avid Arsenal supporter!

Andy was a guy who loved the quiet life. Laying in the garden in the sun with the radio on, a good book, and a cold beer was his idyll - though recently he took the chance to visit New Zealand, an adventure he was ecstatic about and probably as near to Heaven as he would have wanted.

Andy leaves behind his much adored 5 year old son, Nathan; his mother and father, Betty and Derek; sisters Debbie and Emma; nephews and nieces, Sarah, Anthony, Rhys, Georgina, Charlotte, and Ben; and his adored aunt Jean - not to mention the countless friends who had the good fortune to be touched by such a gentle and kindly man.

We will add cherished memories from family members and friends, and perhaps enter some of the eulogies delivered at Andy's funeral over the coming weeks.
